Between March 16- 18th, 2010  the XII Central American and Caribbean Congress of Labor and Social Security Law will take place. Its main subhects are:

 

  1. Employment Law and global economic crisis.
  2. Social security: pension systems, experiences and perspectives.
  3. Work procedures and conflict resolution: jurisprudence and doctrine.
  4. Working and penal responsibility of staff members involved in accidents, occupational diseases and employment discrimination.

The scientific developments will be made via keynote speeches, lectures, workshops, round tables discussions and presentation of papers. Without doubt, this will be a proper place to discuss about the teaching of Employment Law.

Interested applicants will be able to perform presentations, submissions, research works and investigations, individually and collectively.

Prompted by all the explained above and as a modest contribution to the knowledge, improvement and investigation of Employment Law and Social Security, the Cuban-Chilean Foundation (FCC) extend the call to teachers, judges and magistrates, lawyers, consultant and trade union activists and to other specialists related with the topic of Employment and Social Security Law with the purpose of carry out an academic analysis based on a multisector approach to find out projections, advances and setbacks of our continent Work Ethic during the present economic crisis.
